deparko Posted October 25, 2018 Share Posted October 25, 2018 Hi, Running my guitar through a Focusrite into my macbook pro. Using Garageband and Helix Native. I noticed that I'm getting a drop out of sound. I will pick a note and the sustain will continue on the guitar but suddenly drop off in my headphones. I've tried with with factory presets and it still happens. It is really annoying. Any advice on how to fix would be greatly appreciated. soundog Posted October 25, 2018 Share Posted October 25, 2018 Sounds like there's a gate in their somewhere ... either in the plug-in, or in your DAW channel. Also, in the plug-in, check your Host parameters (left-most part of the chain) and make sure the Input Gate is off. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
deparko Posted October 25, 2018 Author Share Posted October 25, 2018 Soundog, that was it!!! I had a noise gate on in my DAW. Clicked that off and the sustain was there abit with a little more noise.
