marcusanderson
Recently updated to 2.7 on my HX Effects. Just noticed this glitch where, when in Stomp Mode, the spilled-out parameters of an effects block will appear on screen after about 10 seconds or so--all on its own. Essentially, I"m looking at my pedal board with effects in the scribble strips and then the edit parameters for an effect will spill out into edit mode. Any ideas what's going on here or how to fix it? It's annoying as hell. **SOLVED** Turns out, my 14 month old son's grimy hands had left some residue on the capacitive switches that made the unit think it was being touched when it wasn't. A quick wipe down solved it. Edited October 28, 2018 by marcusanderson Problem was solved.
codamedia
That is what happens when you "touch and hold" a footswitch for a couple seconds. If you are not doing that... try turning off the "capacitive swtiches" in the global settings to see if the problem goes away. If it does - then the capacitive switches are over reacting and triggering when they shouldn't. I've seen this happen in different environments... I tend to turn those on when editing the machine, but turn them back off for gigs. I hate it when they trigger unexpectedly.

Once a six year old loses his iPad for twenty minutes, the problem solves itself.

salty09
Doh! I returned my first one when that started happening, after discussing it with Sweetwater support and sending them a video of it happening. Guess I need to wash my hand before touching it next time. :P
