dwalsh59
Hello. I have an HD500X FX processor and I have a Marshall amp. My goal is to connect the processor to the amp. I only want to use the FX from the processor. Not any amp or fx sounds from my amp. How do I connect it to the amp to achieve this? Thx
punkin
Does your Marshall have an FX loop in it? If so look up HD500x four cable method on YouTube then follow the directions in your manual.
Guitarman33172
As Punkin suggested. You can try the four cable method and learn to program your IO’s accordingly on your POD HD500X. Another way you can do this is to plug your guitar straight into the input of your amp and plug your POD HD500X into the effects loop of your Marshall. Just be sure to turn off all the amp blocks.
