lukebeirne91
Hi everyone, I've recently purchased a Helix, I'm having one major issue with it- the signal from my guitar is 'clicking'. It happens at pretty much any volume, and even happens when I turn off all amps/cabs and just go directly into the helix with no effects or anything. It happens with headphones, and through PA speakers, it's the same sound every time. It's more noticeable on clean sounds than distorted. I'm using a Suhr with humbuckers, the pickups are quite hot, but I don't think that should really affect it. Things I've tried- Adjusting the input gain i.e. "Guitar in-Z", it was on auto, I tried adjusting it, it even seems to happen on settings as low as 10k ohms Changing my lead Re-installing the firmware, I updated to 2.70 and it was still there Is this a problem anyone else has experienced? Any people smarter than me that can help? I need to get this sorted ASAP as I'm using this on a gig for a month starting tomorrow, and currently it's not really usable. help pleaaaase x
soundog
Helix or Helix Native? If Helix, you need to post this on that forum (this is the Helix Native plug-in forum).
rsvette12
updated to 2.70 - leads me to think its a Helix board not plugin also
