sherimehmood
hi guys i am running my jtv 89 through hd 500 to a DT 25. how can i get a good acoustic sound out of my DT 25. in my experience the best sound comes when i turn off the amp modeling from my hd 500 and choose the topology 1 (based on the vox ac 15). however the problem with that is that everytime i switch to another patch, which has lets say topology 4 amp selected on my dt 25, and come back to the acoustic patch the amp doesnt automatically switch back to topology 1, instead it stays on topology 4. can anyone help me with this issue? TheRealZap
you need to save the patch again after you switch to the topo... and it well automatically switch to that... at least that will get you some movement... not seen a patch for the acoustics through a DT that makes everyone happy yet. sherimehmood
even if i save the other patch ... and come back to the acoustic one the problem still exists .. as there is no amp selected on the patch itself .. and i want to the pod to use the channel A settings that i have dialed in on the amp manually. if that makes any sense ... TheRealZap
yeah mankes sense you are right... the topo is stored with the amp settings... so no amp=no settings. oops.
TheRealZap
actually if you updated the DT to 2.0 you can probably just dig into the midi guide on there and program the topo into one of your FS's might work... haven't tried.
sherimehmood
can you please elaborate on this .. i havent had any experience with MIDI devices ... and more over never used my pod as a MIDI controller... even if there is a good tutorial that you can point me to it would be great...
