psarkissian
Register your product then log a support ticket, and they will inform you of your options. This one is not a self repair fixable problem. A Line 6 authorized service tech will have to get inside this one.
neilzhere
There's a computer chip on the circuit board which houses the SD Card that cuts off when it over heats. (I call it overclocking.) It's a defective chip where it has to be replaced. Since My Spider Jams Warranty Expired, I had to purchase a replacement circuit-board and add a cooling fan to it. Solved my problem! psarkissian
Good guess though, not bad. Original post is a different problem for power cycling like that. It's something that will have to be service at an authorized service center. Not a generic part you can get at the corner shop.

gotojames
HI, Dude, Did you get this fixed? If so what was it? mine is doing the same thing. They want more than the thing is worth to fix it and won't give me any schematic or sell me a tech manual. I already replaced the amp just want to avoid the land fill. it's an easy bolt on fix. Thanks for any help you can give me.

psarkissian
Line 6 authorized service in your area. Not a user repairable issue.
urgentburst
For such an old Amp it is not worth doing a professional Repair. I am Technician in Electronics and if i have had the right Information i will do the change of circuits by myself. Last possibility is to exchange the whole PCB. https://www.fullcompass.com/prod/218711-line-6-50-02-0186-main-pcb-for-spider-jam If anyone can (want to) help me i will say thank You very much
psarkissian
More than likely not just the main processor board. Private Message me with the serial#.
