BigChas52 Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 The HD500 and the UX8 use different modeling technology and very different settings. I have faced a similar problem translating my POD X3 Live settings to my HD500. The best I can tell you is to document your UX8 settings, and manually rebuild them on the HD500. Even then, because of differences in the sound engines, it will take some tweaking after the fact. I found that it was worth the effort. The HD500 sounds great!! BigChas52 Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 I'm far from an authority on the subject, since the patches that I had to translate were AC-30 based, but if I were going to remake Silver J patches on the HD, I might start with the J-800 or Plexi-Lead 100 amps and tweak from there.
