helixuser_z
Hi there, I recently wanted to use another exp pedal. I have inserted the pedal to pedal 2 jack. However, nothing changes when I move pedal 2 despite having assigned it to volume (and also other parameters later). I don't know if it's just the issue with my unit or if this is a general issue with the firmware. My firmware version is 2.71. Sadly I've not used pedal 2 jack before so I can't confirm if it worked with previous versions. Does anyone have experience with this? Any help is greatly appreciated! phil_m
Go to Global Settings>Preferences>Pedal 2 Jack and make sure you have it set EXP 2. What type of expression pedal is it?
helixuser_z
Thank you for your quick reply! Yes it is set to EXP 2. It's a M-Audio expression pedal, but it does work when used with pedal 1 port, where as when it is used with pedal 2 port it does nothing at all. I just tried changing firmware to 2.50 and it doesn't work either. :(
phil_m
Technically, the M-Audio pedal isn't supported. Just out of curiosity, can you see what happens if you leave the pedal plugged into the EXP2 jack and unplug the other pedal from the EXP1 jack? helixuser_z
My apologies. I assigned the jack to amp, and then reassigned it to exp, and it now works... Must be it was on amp by default or something. Just to describe it again in case anyone else has the same problem. The setting originally looks to be Exp 2 - doesn't work I changed it to Amp 2 - doesn't work changed it back to Exp 2 - now works Thank you for all your help!
