Ruger1911 Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Pardon me for an elementary question. Newly purchased Spider IV. Presets work great. When I attempt to set a channel manually to distortion, such as "Metal", Drive maxed out, I get very little if any distortion. I watched video on Line 6 website to set amp to get a "Van Halen" sound. fflbrgst Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Note that when you change settings (such as a preset or to manual), you need to 'wake up' any of the controls by touching/turning it. If you had 'Drive' cranked up all the way, then changed the preset/manual setting, Drive would revert to what that preset is. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
