Fbv Shortboard Mkll Not Working With Pod Hd Pro

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm having a problem connecting my Shortboard to my Pod HD Pro, it simply won't connect.  I am using the correct cable  but it just won't connect, no lights, no recognition.  I know the connector on the HD Pro is working as I can connect my JTV Variax to it and I know the Shortboard is working as it functions perfectly with my Pod X3.  I have updated both the Pod HD Pro and the Shortboard via Monkey with the latest firmware.

Has anyone else had an issue with this and if so, is there a workaround!

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

it doesn't plug into the same place as the variax... if you are trying that... that's why its not working.

I never realised that!  Where does it plug into then?  That'll teach me not to read the manual!!

Ah ha!!  Now I see, the plug marked FBV doh!!  I'm an idiot!  Trouble is when it's in the rack, I have to fumble around behind and just assumed I had the right input. Thanks for that.

Still not working though!  I'll try and re-flash the Floorboard to see if that does the trick

The variax input sends power, and the fbv input sends power... they may do so on different pairs, and if thats the case it may have messed something up.

I'd call support tomorrow and see if they know http://line6.com/company/contact/

Hey, chalky65

Did you try to recalibrate your FBV Shortboard when you re-flashed? If not, I'd try to hold the right nav button as you power up and have your Mk II plugged in via the FBV plug. See what it says.

Here's the latest Manual for the L6 Pod HD Pro, this may be useful.
