Can I Use A Uk Razor Plug As An Adapter From 2 Prong European Power Cable?

I just received my Spider Valve 112 mkii in the post today and it came with a European 2 prong power cable. I can't go to the store to get a proper adapter or a replacement cable until tomorrow so, I ask, is it safe for me to use the 3 pin adapters that are used for shavers etc in the meantime? I tried plugging it in and the power went on but the standby switch didn't seem to do anything.

 

Is this a safe alternative in the meantime or should I just leave it until tomorrow? I'm really dying to get started here but I don't wanna damage the amp!

I found a normal adapter so the problem was sorted.
