stumblinman
Yes. It has one bass amp model in it, and there are tons of effects that work well on bass.
tomb68
Yes. It has many possible bass amps/pres and one Ampeg model as well. :P
joakey
How about plugging it into a bass amp? It's a shame that Line6 doesn't sell a bass amp these days - I'd buy one, if I can use it with my HD500X. Any suggestions on another bass amp to plug the pod into? Charlie is correct, the HD500 can be plugged into any bass amp. if you are plugging into the front you will want to select the "amp" output on the face, if going into the power amp (FX return) select "line". Also: The L2t or L3t works as a bass or acoustic guitar amp, Abe Laboriel uses it for his main gigging bass amp these days. the cool part about using the HD500/X with the L-series speakers is the L6 link (digital connection) and you can control the different speaker modes (if needed). Mr_Arkadin
Well technically there's actually two bass amps - the Tweed B-Man (Fender Bassman - used by guitarists but actually a bass amp originally - check the name) and the Flip Top (Ampeg B-15NF) which is the 'proper' bass amp model. 1
