Spider Edit Wont Install On Mavericks

you have to go to sysprefs/security and tell it to allow software from anywhere...

by default it is restricted to known vendors and the app store.

thats from memory... so it may be a little off... but that's the general idea...

This does not work. It still says unidentified author and won't let you install it. I don't think it is Mavericks compatible.

support does not generally view the forums... just other users...

but this isn't even your thread, and we have no idea if the original poster is unable to install due to the same issue...

or something completely different... or maybe they even already figured it out...

 

Does anyone from Line6 look at these boards? A little help here would be appreciated. It is a pain in the lollipop to manually edit programs.

try holding one of the other buttons when you click it...

not sure which one... either alt cmd or option though....

i don't have a spider amp, but i've been able to install alot of other line6 programs into mavericks with no problem.
