external expression pedal for helix floor

Hello! I own an Helix floor and I'm looking for an external expression pedal in order to drive whammy effects amon others. I plan buying a Boss FV-500L. What do you think about this plan? Will it work weel with helix floor? If so, should I connect it to Helix with a TS cable?

This “which third party expression pedal” thing comes up about every 10 minutes on here, on BookFace, TGP and almost everywhere on the big wide inter web.

 

Rather than send you off down the rabbit hole looking for the answer, and specifically because you mentioned the Boss FV-500L which is easy enough to put into a search engine, a quick check on here brought up this thread for you to have a look at. It’s rather old, like me, but should answer your question.
