richcr4
Hi, new poster here. I just broke a string during tuning and its because of the amp's in built tuner. I wasn't paying much attention but tuned up each string and then realised a few strings were a semitone out. And in matching them all up the high E broke because I may have been a semitone too sharp. Thing is, the tuner wasn't showing me that. It seems that as long as I'm playing on the E string (for example) it's happy to show it as being in tune as long as I'm tuned to an Eb, E or E#. I was using the footpedal's screen but I wasn't seeing any indicator of what the pitch was beyond it being some sort of E. Am I missing something here? thorneven
Don't you have an LCD meter on the pedal that shows when a note is flat or sharp? What model pedal are you using?
