dbdossan
Hi, I was running PodFarm 2 in Windows 8.1 and everything (Monkey, Licence Manager, Drivers, PodFarm, etc...) were OK. Last week I decided to do a fresh install of Windows 8.1. This week I reinstalled Line 6 software to start using my GX again. Monkey is OK, drivers, licence manager, Podfarm 2 installed just fine. Now, my problem is: - GX is detected and recognized by Monkey software. - GX don't by Licence manager software. The only hardware I can see and authorize on Licence manager is my computer. - Consequently, I can't use PodFarm 2 because my GX is not authorized. I tried uninstalling and installing everything in numerous way, but until now the issue remain the same. I already lost many hours and I will be glad to receive any assistance or advice. Thank you in advance and sorry for my english. Don't know if it can help, but I'm on Windows 8 64 bits. Daniel from Portugal

dbdossan
More information, in case it helps. The first windows 8.1 installation was not a fresh one. It was a Windows 8.0 updated to windows 8.1 through microsoft app store. Line 6 software where installed and working and this windows 8.0 installation, and of course continued working after 8.1 update. Another thing, I reproduced exactly the problem on another computer with Windows 8.1 Pro fresh installation. I can see that other peoples, here and in another threads, are facing the same problem, I hope Line 6 will find a solution for this issue. head323
Hello, I bought GX last week and had same problem (win8 64). License manager showed nothing when i connected my GX. Reinstall didnt work. But I solved it. I just enabled compatibility mode (winxp sp3) for POD Farm 2. Then from POD Farm I run License manager, it run also in compatibility mode, and it found my GX and i could authorize it. When i disabled compatibility mode it didnt find it again, but device was authorized and POD Farm 2 was fully working. So everytime I want to use License manager I run it in winxp mode. I hope it helps.
