Electric guitar amps have far too narrow a frequency response for acoustic tones. You need some sort of FRFR speaker(s). Studio monitors, PA style speakers and/or monitor wedges, or something like the Powercab will all work. There's no need for a separate mixer or DI box...most, if not all of the more commonly used FRFR speakers will have 1/4" inputs. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
