dannpritchard1
Hello all, I am having a slight problem with my new Spider valve MKII head thats only been used for 6 months. When i use it connected to my Yamaha audiogram 6 via an XLR cable (microphone cable) using the direct out port on the back of the amp head, it has started to make the guitar sound from the head itself almost like from a mini speaker as well as the headphones. Though this is not a good sound, its more like a very over powered noise trying to play through a tiny speaker. is this normal? does anyone know how to fix it? do i have a faulty unit on my hands? If anyone knows please please advise. :) Thanks
fflbrgst
That is just strange! Are you using a 1/4" stereo to XLR cable/adapter from the headphone/line-out jack?
