jcspirited
This may be a stupid question, how do I delete a snapshot from a preset. Can it be done with HX edit. I have tried on the helix itself. When I select the snapshot, it's recalled, changing the preset.
silverhead
You can't delete a snapshot, just like you can't delete a preset. What you can do is copy snapshots to rearrange/replace them. So if you currently have a preset with different sounding snapshots and you want only one sound, select the snapshot/sound you want and copy that snapshot into all other snapshot locations, 1-8. Or.... SAVE the preset with the snapshot you want selected and then never change snapshots when using that preset.
spikey
You have renamed SNAPSHOT 3 to "Overdrive" and in it, you have engaged an OD pedal in the patch. In turning that snapshot on you have engaged an overdrive pedal, but now you find you don't need that anymore. You want to remove "SNAPSHOT 3" 's function and put it back like it was before you messed with it. Easy. Just disengage the overdrive pedal in the patch (or remove it completely from the patch), and then rename the "Overdrive" snapshot back to what it was- "SNAPSHOT 3". Hope this helped. jcspirited
Thanks, I misunderstood the remove option. Press the preset button, select Rename Snapshot, select Remove. That is to remove custom snapshot name. Not the snapshot Some times you can’t see the trees because of the forest.
benjaminabowman
If you haven't gotten the answer you want try this... -Undo all the Snapshot commands on the preset. That should be the ticket :)
