guitarbloke1980
I’ve started using my Stomp just for effects in the fx loop of my amp. I’ve noticed something strange though – If the Stomp is in the front of the amp, I get scratchy noises when adjusting my volume pot and pickups. This noise is only present with the Stomp in the front of the amp. If the stomp is not on my board at all, and I’m just going through my usual pedals and into the amp everything is fine – no noise. With the Stomp in the loop for time-based effects there is no noise from the pickups or pots. If I plug the Stomp into my FRFR speaker the noise is there. Like I say, it sounds like a scratchy volume pot/pickups, but it clearly can’t that because the pots and p’ups are fine when the stomp isn’t plugged in Anyone else experienced this? Kilrahi
Just to clarify, you get the scratchiness on both an amp AND an FRFR speaker, or was that the same device?
guitarbloke1980
Yup, you can hear it whether I'm connected to the amp or the FRFR. But it's only present when the HXS is being used. The Amp and FRFR are both fine and noiseless when I'm not using the HXS.
