lrmars Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 I have seen an HD500X for sale...next to each foot switch at about "7 o'clock and 1 o'clock" there are 6 sided "detents" or impressions into the surface of the metal. Seems like a by-product of the stamping process - or they were "knockouts" for a different type of footswitch that is now not used on the HD500X.
