nazmussaqib
Hi, I want to have the Variax system in an ergonomic-bodied guitar, something close to Strandberg. Is it possible/easy to transfer the electronics to another body?
phil_m
It’s possible, and there are a good number of transplants out there. But I wouldn’t say it’s easy. It takes quite a bit of work and time.

And thanks for the reply. I remember a NAAM video couple of years ago where Strandberg and Line6 collabed ... but can't seem to find anything now. Would be great if Line 6 did it's own ergonomic body. Even less body than Strandberg would be awesome. Something like a Anygig guitar. Most of the stuff out there isn't gonna interest you if your looking for an ultra-modern body style. Almost everything I've seen are retrofitted Strat, Tele, or LP knock-offs, etc.

You're probably thinking of this, which didn't seem to last very long on the market: https://www.boss.info/global/products/v-bdn/
