rx7carl
Hi all, I'm new to this world of digital modeling/ effects etc. A longtime stompbox guy I want to make the switch. So I bought a used pod xt live. Done some reading and fiddling. I'm starting to understand the basics I think. The way it seems to me, you only get the choice in a channel to turn the amp model on or off with the AMP footswitch. Is there anyway to set it up like a 2 channel amp? i.e., a clean and dirty channel? For example, the song Comfortably Numb. In order to go from the acoustic clean to the distorted solo sound I don't see how I can do it without setting up 2 adjacent channels and switching back and forth, but that would eat up a lot of banks really quickly if you need various tones for different songs/guitarists. Hope that makes sense, any help is appreciated. And any links to vids or tutorials that explain it to someone new to this world like me would be helpful Thanks! daveny5
Use the Stomp section for your distortion channel. The Stomp has effects for Fuzz, Distortion and Overdrive along with Compression, Tube Drive, Synth and Filter effects.
