michaelt630
So I love my Powercab Plus 112 but I'm thinking about moving up to the 212. I play mostly hard rock and metal and as much as I like the tones from the 112 I do miss the thump of my old 2x12 and 4x12 rigs. Does the 212 have any more bass response/thump/resonance versus the 112? If it does that combined with the stereo capabilities would really sway me away from just adding another Powercab Plus 112. ajm583
I am thinking of going with a second powercab 112.
SteveFrance
I've seen you had some answers on TGP : no one has done so 'cause it's not arrived yet ! Some could be interested in the switch, but.....
ajm583
I have been using the Helix into a L2M linked into Powercab 112. I have the powercab on a slanted amp stand and the L2M underneath in horizontal position. You wanna talk power, way more than I need, not sure I even need a second 112. However, the 212 is definitely awesome, but probably not necessary for me at this time. Sucks that I am gear junkie. I am getting better at saying no, only took 45 years.

I just got a PC+ 112 and I have an old L2M. If I ever used them together I think I would separate them for a better stereo effect rather than run them on top of each other. How difficult was it to balance them tonally so as not to get clashing or freakishly different sounds coming out of each? Does the L2M connection set up in stereo properly and separate the two cabs into left and right? Does changing a setting from the Helix on the PC+, for example the cab selection, do anything freaky to the settings on the L2M (I would think not)?
