jeffmcalpin62 Posted November 7, 2019 Share Posted November 7, 2019 Hello everyone, I am a total noob to the Helix and recently downloaded a Variax Acoustic preset from Richie Castellano. The video he made for this preset had him switching between snapshots and a 6 to 12 string sound, etc. I installed it, but obviously have something set incorrectly in my Global settings to get this and other snapshots to work correctly. Can someone assist in proper global settings please? I currently have the footswitches set to 8 snapshots. I have a Variax JTV69. Thanks! LMychajluk Posted November 11, 2019 Share Posted November 11, 2019 Are you using the data cable or the standard 1/4" cable from the Variax to the Helix? I just downloaded one of his Presets, and the Input is set to 'Variax', which would be the data cable. If you're using a 1/4" cable, you won't hear anything.
