Im using (Helix LT.), (L6 Link Cable), into a (PC 212+).

It can remotely access all the Speaker models in the PC+ and program them into my presets but I can't seem to use the over half of Speaker Models, specifically, the combo models. (i.e. Vintage/Cream, Lecto/Dino etc..). Helix doesn't seem to recognize any combination of Speaker Model in the PC 212+

Am I doing something wrong, or is this just the way it is?

PC+ 212 (V 2.00)

Helix LT. (V 2.8)

Don't have one so this could be erroneous but did you also use the Line6 Updater to update your firmware on the Powercab to the latest version?

Yes Its all up to date

Btw, the latest version of HX Edit and the firmware is 2.82, you list 2.8. Don't know if that could have anything to do with it but probably worth upgrading your Editor and firmware versions on the LT anyway.

In HX Edit, there are separate buttons on the Powercab tab to change modes on the Powercab. They're up above all the parameters that have sliders. There's three buttons - Speaker, FRFR, and User IR, iirc. You have to select Speaker Mode first if you want to use the speaker models. On the Helix itself, the Powercab mode is  a separate parameter.

OK, I think i got it now. Pwrcab 212 + has about 35 presets. I was trying to access the presets  from Helix. Apparently I cannot do that. I need to manually assign speaker models to each speaker. I would not have figured that out without all the above responses, thank you.

I don't use Powercab presets with Helix - I let Helix program the Powercab settings. It doesn't really matter what preset Powercab is on, Helix will change it to what is programmed in its patch. The Powercap preset will appear as edited. I ignore this. Note you can press the selector encoder to see what mode the Powercab is in and what speaker Helix selected. I often leave Powercab like this to verify what the Helix patch set.
