RNRage
Anyone know what the functions of the FBV Express and FBV Shortboard are with this amp?
Rowbi
The express or shortboard MKII can select A,B,C or D preset (stored in the amp), control tap tempo and tuner, and also expression control of assigned parameters. RNRage
No effect on/off on the Shortboard?
TheRealZap
pretty sure that remains to be seen... i suspect it will work, but can't confirm. No effect on/off on the Shortboard?
RNRage
I guess I'll end up testing it out then. I preordered one through Sweetwater and have a Shortboard laying around here somewhere that I ordered this past Summer. The sales rep said the phones have been ringing off the hook for them (the Amplifi). If effect on/off doesn't work, I'll probably end up ordering the FBV Express (smaller) for jammin' around. Either way, It's not a big deal as I plan on running the 500x through the aux in for use outside of the house.. We'll see how that works out. If it doesn't, It's going back. pretty sure that remains to be seen... i suspect it will work, but can't confirm.
Rowbi
I took that info straight from an early version of the user guide I read over recently. But like Zap said it may well work as you want it to but we will have to wait and see to be sure Thanks Andy

wilson69978
I seem to be having trouble finding info on how to assign effect parameters to the expression pedal. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks.
wilson69978
Ok, I will answer my own question. You can't. You can assign one parameter to one effect and control it with the fx knob on the amp.
