POD won't connect to my MAC

My Line 6 POD HD500X packed up the other week.  Half the samples mysteriously stopped working.  I reset the POD and have returned to factory settings.

 

But now it won't connect to my MacBook Pro, running OS Mojave.  I have swapped leads and so on but no joy.

 

Updated Line 6 Monkey etc.  No joy

 

Any clues as to what is wrong?
