Ha ha... This reminds me of a Christmas gift I gave my Dad when I was about 10. It was a baseball glove - size small. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. But my dad was over 6' tall. I really enjoyed that glove!

It should also include the following:

Having somebody else to:

1) Clear the table

2) Take out the garbage

3) Mow the lawn

4) Shovel the driveway

If that ain't happening, then you're not doing it right...;)

For my Older Kid, the benefit is I have somebody who gets my mothballed gear.  For my Younger Kid, I have somebody to whom I can teach classical guitar and through whom I get to see guitar just like I did when I was eight years old.

I don't have kids, but I have a 16 year old nephew who plays. So far he's received my Pod XT, a Snark tuner, and a bunch of old Planet Wave cables. This Chrismas he's getting an old Crate amp I have sitting around gathering dust. He already has a Crate amp almost identical to this one so he'll finally be able to play the Pod XT in a stereo step up.

He won't get my Helix until I'm dead.
