Request for new modulation

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a modulation that would make the pedal work much like a tremolo bar  - I know there is a simple pitch

tone and that could be set to change by the pedal - but it seems it would be easier to take the guitar tone and drop it

this way someone without a tremolo bar could get the effect from the Helix

thanks for considering

Nothing will be considered in here... this is a user forum. Feature requests have to be posted in Ideascale, otherwise nobody in a position to act will ever see it.

Which trem bar effect are you looking for? A soft vibrato or a dive bomb? There may already be options in the Helix I could suggest if I knew what you were after?

Aside from the expression pedal or a foot switch... how else would you expect to apply the effect?

For the effect to sound like a Trem bar, each string would have to bend different rates. The lower strings would have to bend faster than the higher strings. This would require polyphonic pitch detection which the Helix is not currently capable of.
