FBV MKII Express W/ Spider IV 150HD...Pedal Board Function?

Recommended Posts

With all of the technology packed into this thing it seems to be lacking the most basic and desired function.

I'd like to use the express as a pedal board of sorts.

Is there a way to assign the footswitches to turn individual effects on and off in a given preset? Sort of like having individual stomp boxes on a pedal board?

No, that is not possible.  You would need to use the FBV Shortboard for that.   The work-around is to set up your presets in any bank of 4 to do that, for example, 'A' doesn't have distortion or chorus, 'B' has distortion, 'C' has chorus, D has both distortion and chorus.

Yeah honestly it's still not going to work for me like that. I've actually started building a pedal board that sounds awesome. EHX Canyon delay/looper and a Big Muff Pi Russian reissue so far.

I'm getting some amazing sounds so far that the amp just can't do and I once again have complete control.

I guess I'm more for turning knobs and stepping on pedals than drilling down into menus.
