monkeymanx
Anybody have any idea if they have been working on getting support for folks with 4K monitors that need high DPI support? Right no you can enlarge the plug in container but you can not actually enlarge the text and the graphics so it is pretty small looking and you have to put your face on the screen to edit.
monkeymanx
I up voted a couple of the ideas on the ideascale but noticed one of the 4K support requests which was for the Helix editor is 3 years old so maybe they believe people are not using higher resolutions than 1080p in 2020. gstrdms
Anyone wanting to run Helix Native on 4K+ resolution with a readable UI on Windows 10 may try the following: 1. Head to your DAW root folder containing the exe file for your DAW 2. Right-click on the DAW exe file then 'Properties' and 'Compatibility' 3. Click 'Change High DPI Settings' 4. Tick both boxes 'Program DPI' and 'High DPI Scaling Override'. 5. Run Helix Native within your DAW and it should scale up enough to be readable on a native 4k resolution (and possibly higher). line-6-user
That did not work for my laptop running at 2560 x 1600. Native needs the same scaling button as found on other plugins manufactures, like Waves and Plugin Alliance. PLEASE, Line 6!!!!!
urimish
Same here. Makes Helix Native almost unusable on my laptop (Dell XPS 13). Thanks
leoet1975
I am using Studio One as my DAW. Helix Native is absolutely tiny and unreadable. How in the world am I going to use this? Line6, help?
mlaroe
Love my HX Stomp, thought hey this would be great on my desk top! In Ableton Live the UI is an Inch x Inch in size! I can't use this! Gonna have to ask for money back or charge back this is ludicrous. Tried the above suggestion but it did not make any change to how it appears. kasakka
Old thread, but how the hell is Helix Native 3.5.1 still not HiDPI capable? On my 4K screen it's either tiny or I override scaling and it's blurry instead. Come on Line6!

Hi, Not sure why, but this must be a Windows thing, as Helix Native displays fine on my iMac Retina 5k 27” screen.
