I put two songs in my music website: "Sanctity", which is the song on top, and "Are You There?" is the next song down. One song uses the Tom Scholz Soloist (a version of the Rockman), and the other song uses the PodXT for guitar amp modeling. Can you tell which is which? Please tell me how you like the music, and how it can be improved. Here is my link:

"Are You There" is the Rickman right?

I remember guys in the 80's using them in place of their Marshall or other amps. I personally never understood that all!!!

I had one & used it for late night jamming or practicing on the bus & in hotel rooms. Worked great for that!

Modeling tech is a godsend for me. 'Going direct' is something that I had always sought but could never achieve.

I had keyboards that went direct. Vocals went direct. Acoustic guitar went direct.

I could never get a decent direct tone with my electric guitar.

Eventually I gave up and had gotten my rig to the point where I didn't even question when someone said "we need X tone".

But, then, fast forward a few decades, I needed to make a change. And as I went looking at stuff,,, hey, they finally got this working, let's go for it.

I will never use an amp again.
