Sound like Greer Lightspeed

Hi... tempt me away from buying a Greer Lightspeed. I've been loving the demos I've heard of that pedal - it has a great dynamic/clarity to it that I really like.

Any recommendations to getting that similar style of overdrive in Helix?

Cheers.

I read that when the guy was designing the Lightspeed that he realized it was similar to a Timmy and called and talked to the guy that makes the Timmy and he said it was different enough that he is cool with him making them...but the fact that it was close enough to warrant a discussion...maybe try a Teemah?

Yeah - I often stick the Teemah at the start of my drives, set to low gain. It's incredibly useful. Just seems that the Lightspeed has a bit more sparkle to it or something....

YES, YES, YES . . . sparkle is a good word for it.  The Lightspeed is a tremendous low-med gain OD that I prefer to my Timmy and I wish L6 would consider a model of it.  Also would love a good Plexi pedal . . . Carl Martin, JHS AT, SL Drive. . . any of those.

Hi,

You must be a necromancer - this thread expired in it’s tracks two years back.

There are no Line staff in here, and only very occasionally do they visit these forums - See the “sticky comment” in the black banner stripe at the top of this page entitled “Welcome to the Line 6 forums!”

This link is where you need to go to have any hope of your request been seen by anyone from Line 6:

https://line6.ideascale.com/a/index

Before posting any  new ideas, please do a search to see if it's already been listed. Multiple requests for the same thing will thin out the votes. Also, post your ideas one at a time. Many users don’t vote for combined suggestions.

You should then use the thread linked below to let other users know what your suggestions are, with links to IdeaScale, so they can vote on it if they wish.

Hope this helps/makes sense.
