Ratchet9868
This is a weird question - Is there any way to swap out the control board lights for a different colour? Dont worry, I'm not going to go into the amp looking for a shock, I'm just curious. :)
psarkissian
No. Sorry.
Ratchet9868
Really? Even if i took it to a qualified tech?
psarkissian
Surface mount LED's on a board. Don't mess with them.

psarkissian
I know. The days of bulbs are gone. Not like the tube amps of the 1960's and 70's anymore. I'm used to it.
Ratchet9868
Just wondering, why is there no way to learn about the DT series inner workings? Is it just so we have to take it to a tech every time it blows a fuse and fork out 100s of pounds or is there another reason?
Ratchet9868
Its a real shame because i love tinkering with stuff like this to give it a personal edge
psarkissian
Too much proprietary stuff inside. Too much high voltage hazard. Too many out there who get in too deep, mess up, then it ends up on my repair bench or my lab mates. Trying to prevent that. If a fuse blows on one of these, the reason is serious, and a new fuse won't solve it (and maybe even make it worse). No custom kits or corner electronic store mods with these. If it does need servicing at some point, there's always E&M Electronics in Milton Keynes or my mate, former L6 Rugby tech Mark Wright Music in Northampton. I know, I'm a tech tweaker myself, Mark can confirm that. :) Cheers. Rock-n-roll!!!
