Newb question.

I just upgraded from using the Hd500x direct to house and PA to using a micro head amp quilter inter block 45.  I am wondering if I need to delete all of my amp mods on the 500X now that I am using this setup.  Also, using the 4 channel method with quilter

My setup:

500x > quilter interblock 45 w > 2 x12 cabinet

4 channel method which is also going to the board

thanks in advance!

Given that you are going to use a full real amp (pre-amp+power-amp in a box), you don't need the amp models anymore, unless you want instead to create several hybrids (which could be very cool), basically combining the POD pre-amp models with the real power-amp+cab, in this case you could avoid using the 4CM and simply connect the POD directly to the RETURN input of your amp (thus bypassing the real pre-amp and connecting only to the real power-amp).

(2 cable method)

GTR-->POD-->AMP RETURN
