smrybacki Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 The CustomTone web site is clearly broken, and has been since the new site redesign was launched. Trying to edit my own tones (I am logged in) or see details on any other tones by clicking on the tone name USED to take you to an edit or view screen, but now always takes me to the Line6 homepage with the new AmpliFi system on full display. Coincidence? I think not. As a web programmer, I know how bone simple a fix this is, and furthermore that there was no real reason for it to be broken to begin with. I have opened a support ticket on this (and I'm not the only one) but I expect like most other issues at this point and given the recent and ongoing Yamaha buyout, this will be summarily ignored.The times they are a changing boys and girls. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just recently uploaded a bunch for the first time only to find out I can't tell anyone songs/artists names and all that and what I've set the footswitches to do. On the customtone website just click on the title of the particular tone of yours that you want to edit and it'll bring up a page with all of the fields you can enter data into. That means there would have been thousands of pages. When I first bought my HD500 there were about 40 pages of patches. I watched as that number grew to 500 when I bought my HD500X. I always eagerly waited as new patches would show up, but now it looks like they are organized alphabetically which kind of stinks imho..... Then I can just drag them all into HD Edit and check them out. I have found a few interesting tricks and combinations that way... Keeps them all sorted neatly on the computer without just being one giant mess...
