ryhamilt Posted February 4, 2014 Share Posted February 4, 2014 Please forgive me if this is a little ignorant. I haven't looked at Line 6 gear in quite a while, but the HD500X has peaked my interest. Well, while researching it, I also ran across the POD HD Pro X Rackmount. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the rackmount is $200 more than the HD500X. It appears to be the same thing...just in a rackmount form. What am I missing? Does the HD500X allow for 2 signal paths like the rackmount? Does it have the same amp models, effects, etc? Are there more I/Os on the rackmount? It seams like, with the HD500X, you get the POD HD Pro X...plus the floorboard! I mean seriously....I think I'm going insane trying to figure this out.
