latency issues

Latency Mon is a great program for telling you that SOMETHING is wrong. If you're a real geek you might even be able to figure out how to fix it.

You didn't provide much detail about your system, so I'm going to assume that:

1) You're running a fully patched Windows 10. If not, get Windows 10 and install all the latest patches and drivers. W10 has many audio improvements over previous versions.

2) You have at LEAST an i5 processor and 8 gb RAM. If not, consider a HW upgrade if none of what follows fixes your problem.

MINIMUM STARTING POINT -

Disable Start-up programs. Only what you ABSOLUTELY NEED!

Disable Power Saving. Control Panel/Power Options, choose the High Performance Power Plan.

In Control Panel/System/Advanced System Settings/Advanced/Performance/Settings/Adavanced/Processor Scheduling set "Adjust for Best Performance" to "BACKGROUND SERVICES

Disable wireless. BUY a wire to connect to your router if you have to.

You'll notice that they all suggest certain things. Do them

After you've done all of that, re-run Latency Mon.
