Hmm, there is no option on the 3rd knob at this point. Only knob 1 which has 'none / command' 

 

You don't need to go to the Command Center. On the unit itself, hit the Menu button and hit the footswitch to go to Signal Flow View. Once there, navigate to the effect you want to change to momentary. In the scribble strip above FS2, you'll see it says, "Move Block", "Path" and "Switch" (the Switch parameter is where you can manually select what footswitch you want to assign the effect to). Hit the > button to go to the next page of parameters. Below knob 1, you'll see the Type parameter where you can select Latching or Momentary. You want to select Momentary to do what you're describing in the first post.

This has done the trick. Thanks, Phil. 

 

I guess I can sort of understand why it comes under Signal Flow...
