Distortion/Overdrive Effects - Spider V Remote App

So when using these effects and making adjustments to them the settings are Drive, Gain and Tone. On a real Ibanez Tube Screamer the choices are Drive, Level & Tone where Level is volume. Why in our case are we using the term Gain?  Doesn’t Gain refer to distortion and synonymous with Drive?

 

The interchanging of Gain and Drive confuses me.
