EuanGMason
I tried to upgrade the firmware from 1.01 to 1.12 but the upgrade failed at the backup stage. I get a message: "Backup dialog failed to load. Click OK to retry". I run Windows 10. Anyone know what's going on?
grand_69
Did you ever figure this out? Just picked up a new Pod Go this weekend and have the same issue. Using the latest version of the software I get stuck on the same “backup dialog failed...” message trying to update from 1.12 to 1.
usedbyanr
Do you get the same problem when trying a backup from the File->Create Backup... menu? I've only done the update procedure once so I can't remember if you are forced to create a backup before you update. The documentation doesn't make it clear either. It says it asks if you want to create a backup and then says Click "OK" so who knows. Click "Update now." POD Go Edit asks if you want to create a backup of your existing user presets. Click "OK" and then "Create Backup." Once the backup is completed, click "OK."
grand_69
Tried that.. basically nothing at all happens when I click create backup. No popups, errors, nothing. Just downloaded the sand alone "updater" app and going to try that.
grand_69
I got the unit to update using the updater app.. still, nothing happens when I try to manually create a backup in edit v1.21 so something isn’t right.
marcuswee
As per some of the above messages, I am still unable to create a backup via the Update process nor the manual backup/restore process - which does not do anything. I cannot find any solutions. Please help.
