Use Helix LT Volume knob to control PC 112 plus volume ?

Hi

Does anyone know if it’s possible to use the volume knob on the Helix LT to control the volume of a PC 112 plus when connected by L6 link AES/EBU digital cable

The accepted wisdom is to set the Helix output to drive the PC 112 plus so the input light is yellow and then use the volume knob on the PC 112 plus , that’s not so easy when it’s tilted back and it would be much easer if the Helix LT volume know could control the PC 112 plus volume and not change the LT output level

Any one worked out how do do that ?

Well, you can't do that. BUT....the Output Level on the PC112+ can be controlled by MIDI using CC#7. If you're not using the on-board pedal for anything else, you can set it in Command Center to send MIDI CC#7. If you're already using it, you'll need a separate expression pedal.

Not yet, but hoping the next update will fix that. Meantime you'll need a separate midi cable.

You can create a preset to set the level using an Instant Command, and the level will remain the same between presets until you change it, but unless your presets are perfectly leveled, that won't be very useful.

It worked like a charm, thanks , is there anyway to get a visual indicator of the current sent value , I found I had to limit the max to about 90 so around 3/4 max volume to give a bit of finesse

No, just Command Center. Unless you're tethered to a computer, then you could use a MID Monitor.
