jcaballero41
So I got a new spider v 20 mkii and managed to download the Spider Remote. However I can't figure out how to connect both. The user manual puts it simple: use a USB A to Micro B and the software should spot it instantly. But this didn't happen... maybe I'm doing something wrong...? phil_m
Do you have the little switch on the back of the amp set to Mac/PC?
jcaballero41
No, this amp has no settings in the back, only the power switch ..
peroed
You have to install the und driver first. You will find this on Line6 download section
TobyScott1975
Having the same issue with my Macbook not finding the amp once I have the spider remote app open. Did you ever get it working?

Did you ever get it working? I did, my case was very simple: I changed the cable. I used an android cable instead and it worked perfectly. Lootimus_Music
Having 0 luck using the amp with my macbook pro. I can not find a "driver" for the Spider V 60 MKII. I can only locate the the updater and firmware patch. My mac doesn't recognize it at all using the designated USB cable with it switched to Mac/PC. phil_m
The Spider V is a class compliant USB core audio device for Macs, so you don't need a driver. Line 6 Updater should recognize it. Make sure you don't have any other Line 6 applications open when running Line 6 Updater.

Have you used other cables? I tried mine with 3 different ones before It could work. Once it works, the macbook should immediately recognize it. Hope you can figure it out! Zarpax
I experienced the same thing. I first thought there was something wrong with my very expensive USB-cable I bought. My solution was: I updated the firmware to V2.05 but my Spider V30 already was on firmware V2.05. And that did it! It now works.
