Koernerbrot
Hi, I use a g30 for rehearsal and live situations and i recently noticed, that the output level coming from the g30 receiver is stronger than the output level coming from my bass if connect the bass directly to my pedalboard. This is easy to see because the first pedal in my chain (after the receiver) is a compressor with gain reduction metering. I get around 4 to 6 dB more of the reduction while using the g30 compared to going directly into the compressor. This makes tweaking my sound at home (where i'm not using the g30) really difficult because everything in my chain behaves different with the higher signal level coming from the g30 when playing live / at rehearsal. Is this normal behaviour? I thought the output of the receiver should always be the same level as the input the transmitter gets from the connected instrument. Has anyone made similar experiences?
