tojoe14
When I download a Custom tone preset that has a 3rd party IR, a Pod edit prompt comes up saying the IR is not recognized, does that mean Pod edit replaces it with another IR and if not is there a way to save the IR separate some the preset to my Pod edit IR library. Thanks.
cristt
I don't think pod go edit gets an automatic fallback IR. I guess you need to save into your IR library another compatible IR (or use a standard pod go amp sim) then link it to that preset.
silverhead
No POD Go does not replace the 3rd party IR with anything. And there is no way to save it separately from the preset into the POD Go IR library. The reason is that 3rd party IRs are commercial, purchased products. You are not entitled to it since you haven’t purchased it. What you can do is replace the IR with one of the stock POD Go cab/mic models. If you have the name of the IR in the Customtone preset you may be able to decipher that to give you a hint about the closest POD Go cab/mic option.
