kdownes Posted November 7, 2020 Share Posted November 7, 2020 Hi all -- I have a Helix Rack and am considering a Suhr Reactive Load to run my Fender Blues Jr. into the Helix, then through some Ownhammer IRs. Is it possible to use the Aux In jack for the line output of the Reactive Load? I'd like to keep the guitar input jack up front available for when I wouldn't be using my amp & attentuator. zappazapper Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 No reason why you couldn't, but you might want to consider plugging into the input of the Helix, and then using a send with a send block to the input of your amp (send level set to instrument) . dolender Posted November 8, 2020 Share Posted November 8, 2020 I use an effects loop in for this purpose and set it to line level. Works like a charm. My reactive load box got delayed by weather then inexplicably lost for several days and didn't arrive until yesterday. I'll try out the FX loop idea -- sounds like it's the most flexible.
