brettmtb
Is there any way to simply delete unwanted setlist and presets from the Helix using HX Edit or even on the unit itself? I updated to 3.0 and was worried about overwriting old presets with the new ones so now ended up with Two sets of Factory 1 and 2 Setlists - the old and the new! Hi, If you have a completely empty setlist -simply export it then re-import it into the list you want to replace, otherwise read on.... Possibly the quickest way is to first ensure that you have a backup of all your own presets that you want to keep, either as setlists or individual presets Then restart your Helix while holding down footswitches 7&8 which will reset the presets to factory and keep any IRs you have. This should then have only the 2 factory and the template setlist available, the other setlists a cleared out. Then from HX Edit you can export an empty setlist, eg: User 1, then re-import that list to overwrite the setlists you wish to remove ( Factory 1 & 2) then rename the setlist to whatever you want. Doing this means you can essentially create a completely empty Helix and then load whatever you wish, either your own individual setlists or single preset to build your own setlists. The other thing you could do is find a blank preset, copy and paste it over all the slots that you want to free up. It’s a bit tedious. Hope this helps/makes sense.
