mr_m_cox
Hi all, In the user guide I was looking at what models each pod go amp/pedal is based on and noticed that some are shaded with a lighter shade of their given colour, others a sharker shade. What does this denote? Thanks all.
grdGo33
I think it's effectively for what are newer and generally more DSP intensive effects, vs legacy (paler) which are effects coming from older Line6 products and generally less expensive... But that might not be it, since for instance Spring reverb is super expensive DSP-wise, but it's very possible that still the Spring reverb comes from an older L6 product...

Yup, that's pretty much it - essentially darker = Helix models, lighter = legacy models. (It's not linked to DSP specifically, but newer Helix models will tend to be more detailed so will generally use more DSP than an equivalent legacy model - but there may be some exceptions).
