Benjy777
Hi all. Bought a brand new FBV 3 for my son's Spider III 150HD. All compatibility documents seem to show full compatibility. Pedal is fully functional EXCEPT all presets save instead of switching. I am completely baffled. When pressing each button on the FBV3 (i.e. A, B, C or D) the display reads "saving" and saves the current patch to it. Simple right? Well, when pressing any and all of the buttons, they always save....never switch. I am obviously missing something simple....I hope? I have documented the issue in a YouTube vid here: https://youtu.be/fgqimL1-Bgw Thanks in advance for any help!!

fflbrgst
Without the FBV plugged in, are you able to change (and save) patches on the amp itself? There should not be even an option to save patches from the FBV, so it sounds likr something might be 'stuck' in the amp settings.
Benjy777
Yes. The amp works perfect. Thats odd. The screen on the FBV actually flashes "saving" when I press it, so the footboard it attempting to save something. Thanks for your time!! Beats me? fflbrgst
Have you tried a different CAT5 cable? Also check the 'pins' in the amp jack, the cable and the FBV jack - they bend easily.
Benjy777
Good point. I will check all accordingly. Thanks!!
